The Dark Knight Rises Prologue Thoughts

Sorry folks, got shut down for a few minutes there. But all is well, just had to sign the new terms stuff. Well, now that’s settled; On with the show:

Yes, I saw it. No it wasn’t with Mission: Impossible: Tom Cruise doing the same stuff (no offense to Brad Bird), but I did see it through the latest Batman viral: Operation Early Bird. And if you participated through this you received one of two shirts:

I only received the Batman shirt and I’ve decided to keep it this time. Got to keep some rare shirts sometimes. The prologue started at 10:30pm and well got to the Universal CityWalk IMAX theater quite early. So I took in to see The Muppets first (quite nostalgic really). So after about a few hours waiting for the line to start and about 3 hours waiting in the actual line finally got down to watching the Prologue. It is indeed short, but even for the first 7 minutes it sure does beat a Mission: Impossible movie any day. I won’t talk too much about it, but there was indeed a lot to see, and a lot to hear.

I’d tell you to watch it in front of Mission: Impossible, but if you actually want to see the movie, then go ahead and pay the IMAX ticket. If not, go watch Sherlock Holmes 2 for the newer Trailer. Either way, one shouldn’t be too disappointed. Hm, there may be one problem with the prologue for first timers. If you care to find out, well, see it for yourself. It’s the best quality I can find and you can see stuff alright. At least the audio quality is pretty ok. Scene sounds almost as good as when I heard it in the theater:

That is awesome.

Is it me or does Bane sound like he's doing a Sigmund Freud impression? Granted it's hard to tell what he sound like at all.

Actually, even if it does take a few takes and a couple and subtitle readings, I know what Bane is saying now. Even if it does take some getting used to. It's weird, but I like it.
