The One Game Console to Rule Them All?

Before I begin to even articulate just what I have just read, from 2 websites mind you, I still have to recollect myself for what I have just witnessed.

OK now.

The game console that may actually destroy Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and PS3 is coming soon. It could also be hardly called a Console, more like a little black box that lets you play games in High Def either on your laptop that doesn’t require any gaming hardware AT ALL or either on your TV in High Def. What is this magic game box you ask? This my friends is called the OnLive.

Don’t be deceived by it’s looks, this is one powerful gaming system. If I learned by my take on this thing; my explanation on how this works is terrible. So read more about it here: http://news.cnet.com/8301-10797_3-10202688-235.html?tag=pop.

I do know it works in a way how YouTube works. No downloads needed, just all through network streaming, and no lag.I also know about skeptics, since its been tried before:

A box full of suck (Has nothing to do with you AFOS).

So will it work? The developers say yes, but we will either have to wait for the beta to be out in Summer ‘09 or wait for the full release in Winter. As far as I know, most video game enthusiast websites says it does work. Others may have to wait for time to tell. I say if its gotten this far, it most certainly works, but then again time will tell as well.

So what say you? I’m on board. If too expensive ? I may have to wait as well. In the meantime, you can sign up to be a beta tester here: http://www.onlive.com/beta_program.html

The Nintendo Wii also seems to be taking a beating at the GDC this year in the wake of the Xbox 360’s new peripheral:

What seems the point of the Wii now? Or the Wii’s Motion Plus with Microsoft’s GameTrak Freedom on the horizon? Well this will either head towards Nintendo’s fun games or Xbox 360’s next gen graphics.

A new war is brewing and I am scared.

All Your Questions Are Belong To Us

Grace Park, aka: Boomer, aka: a frakking cylon toaster, stops by on Attack of the Show to answer everyone's Battlestar Galactica questions before the finale (Don't worry, she explains nothing or everything):

The End is Here

Well in terms of Watchmen movie anyway. Many mixed things coming from people all around. Could this be a good thing or bad thing? Well it does show just how complex this story is, even including on film. Yes I have seen it, and yes it deserves another viewing for me to completely deliberate what I have seen. Maybe twice more. There's one thing I can say is is that; Yes it is incredibly fantastic. Unfortunately this is no review so that's probably all I will say. I need to see this in IMAX to complete just how much blown away I was while watching this. I also need to read the novel a few times once again just to get my fill. After reading it I never actually thought I would say; I have watched the Watchmen.

There is also news about how much the Watchmen has made and which confuses some by why should it? The economy is in a rut and its a rated R superhero movie. I am surprised by how much it actually made. Around 55 million is a nice number for a movie like this. I bet it will be watched again this weekend for further analysis as I will do. Well at least there’s still time to watch the Watchmen.

Also if you don’t know by now what Watchmen is, and was leaving under a rock all this time; Go buy it now!

Random note: I gotta get this soon.

To the person who thought of this first (AFOS):

They stole your idea.

Last bit of awesome news to Bioshock fans, all you need is this picture to explain all:

Its called a Big Sister and your welcome.

Gattaca Now

Gattaca couldn’t have been more right. Except with the things that has nothing to do with changing the hereditary of your baby, we just aren’t there to change lives and replace thumbs with Jude Law yet. We probably are were they designed Ethan Hunt in the movie.

I won’t go into details since I don’t know how everything works. Just know Gattaca was right about this. People seem to call it the “Designer” Baby and seems quite weird and disturbing to call it that. To create that “Perfect” Baby comes at a cost of $18,000. The first of these Designer Babies will be born next year, here in Los Angeles. The future is now kids.

Speaking of the future:
