I'm not trying to be a downer. I think trailer for the new Mortal Kombat looks great. The new game sticks to its roots while going back to what made Mortal Kombat a success; riding on Street Fighter's coattails. That's not meant as a criticism. Mortal Kombat is best when it's Street Fighter's disturbed step-child.
Laaame. It's trying too hard to come off as dark and gritty while limiting any recognizable Mortal Kombat elements.

ReplyDeleteI know the supernatural elements may have been eliminated a bit. But I still like the live-action short. The Video Game trailer looks awesome though.
