[Adult Swim], Please Don't Sue

Thought I try my hand at my own little [Adult Swim] in-between show bump.

[Adult Swim] has now announced that they are doing what they did last year, they are also doing this year. They are moving its programming an hour earlier. Now at 9:00pm (6:00pm for us people that get East Coast programming). This makes me wonder if Cartoon Network is now having problems. They haven't been showing the best programming lately. Although [Adult Swim] has been showing mostly reruns, it seems to be going fine with them for getting an extra hour. They need more things though. The only new thing is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, new Aqua Teen episodes, and new episodes of other programming from Fox which you can watch on Fox the Sunday before. They should just become their own channel. Then again they probably don't have enough for it. they are sharing a channel with Cartoon Network. Yeah, won't happen.

I think I’ll make this my new header soon.

Once More Unto The Breach

In another of Bungie’s infamous ViDoc’s they explain just how different the new Halo: Reach really will be. Explaining how they started from scratch and the battles will be much bigger, than the ones in previous Halo games. Even showing some gameplay. Lets watch:

Bad News, Good News, and Probably More Good News

  • First the bad news. If you haven’t heard already, iMAGi studios has closed its doors earlier this week. After reviving a few movies, which were more than decent. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep the doors open. The problem now? The most recent film they were developing, Gatchaman, is more than likely dead. Remember those trailers? Yeah you probably won’t see that anymore. Never did see the show too much as a kid, but this did seem a bit better than previous movies. It may be released on DVD, but if it wasn’t finished, its less likely that chance will happen either. Too bad for the short lived company.
  • Now for some Good News; Christopher Nolan’s third Batman movie may be in development. As David S. Goyer has announced leaving Flash Forward to focus on more movie scripts. Which is more than likely the 3rd Batman movie. As an added bonus: Warner Bros. has also announced Christopher Nolan will take over the Superman franchise. I still have yet to understand this outcome, since Superman has a bit of a worse run than Batman through the years (And also for a fact I didn’t think Nolan would take on a project like this). But we may see a Batman/Superman movie. Maybe. By the way think about this: David Tennant as The Riddler?
  • Captain America has announced the villain for the movie. Kinda easy since it takes place during World War II, but if you don’t want a spoiler, skip now. Highlight: Its Red Skull.
  • The next Spider-Man will be in 3D. Not sure how I feel about that. I’m still not even sure of a reboot, which goes back to high school.
  • Jaws 3D has been announced, which is a reboot. I think. No. Wait. Yea-No. Probably. Maybe. It stars Tracy Morgan. Its a start for Jaws 19 being released in 2015.

Welcome Back to Rapture...in Paper

Hey welcome to another post were I was actually being creative for once. Just recently got into a very underrated new craft like origami which involves printing out cartoon or other pop culture characters, and making them in a block like person. Thus the term papercraft (yeah I actually have no idea, I’m just stating what I know so far). So I first started small, making Ninja Turtles characters, which haven’t been shown yet. But then I started with super gluing papercraft and made this next creation:

SDC11489

Yeah, even if I did use super glue; I forgot super glue still shows through paper and makes a mess like regular glue. Still, it stays better. Here’s another angle:

SDC11488

It’s pretty close to the actual Big Daddy in the wallpaper, right? Well there’s a reason I am starting papercraft and the reason I won’t disclose at this time. But I did realize another thing while making this papercraft; and that is just like regular glue I am still messy with super glue thus having to wash my fingers vigorously off and my fingernail is now fused with super glue:

A Good Year to be a Gamer

There are a bunch of new video games coming out for the new decade. Which include New and Old faces. Just announced recently was an old face. Somehow I knew he would return to the good days of 2D gaming, but I didn’t think it would be similar to the new Mega Man 10 game:

Sonic the Hedgehog 4

Sonic is back the way he should have many years ago. Only because the 3D wasn’t working so much anymore. Not that it has worked after Sonic Adventure 2. It went downhill in that area.

BioShock 2

Next up will be a favorite for steam punk fans and fans of the previous Bioshock venture. With Bioshock 2 looking more awesome each time I see a video, its one video game I will most definitely play for hours. Here’s an awesome full CGI launch trailer:

Aliens vs. Predator

Remember Aliens vs. Predator and how awesome it was? I’m talking about the old PC games, in case you’re confused. Ever want to relieve scenes from Aliens? Well not really, but mostly yes. This is why it sounds much cooler as a game than a movie:

Transformers: War for Cybertron

To my knowledge, I don’t really think Transformers has gotten a good video game. The movies haven’t really helped either. The Playstation 2 game might have been good, but I never really played it myself. Well it looks like they may finally get a good video game. From what I’ve seen, it may be a prequel to the whole Transformers mythology. Which is good since we haven’t really gotten a full picture how the whole war started between Autobots and Decepticons. Check out another trailer:

Fallout: New Vegas

Fallout is now going the way of the Star Wars KOTOR series and is now being made by Obsidian. Its not necessarily a bad thing either. Don’t get me wrong KOTOR II was a really entertaining game. New Vegas does and will be an interesting concept. We wont know how Obsidian will take the approach of VATS, hopefully adding new elements to it and not making it seem like its getting old. Vegas looks somewhat new now and is one of the only cities up and running in the Fallout world. I sure will be there, as I have with Fallout 3, to see a new side of this post apocalyptic world:
